Where I started: From A Crazy Idea on Vision Board to Reality

Why is starting a Photo booth a crazy idea? sounds easy to me.

If you know me, I'm a struggling Stay at Home Mom of 2 under 2. Without a job I have no stable income. I solely rely on my husband's income which makes everything impossible to start.

Photobooth is just one of the ideas I have on my bible (or notes), It's just the one thing I think might work. And Yes, I know the market is saturated with photo booth rentals.

I'm a visionaire and I’ve always been a visionaire. Even before I fully understood what that meant, I was sketching business ideas in notebooks, writing random thoughts on scraps of paper, and dreaming about things that didn’t exist yet. While other kids were thinking about what to be when they grew up, I was already planning the how—not just a job, but a brand, a movement, a business I could call my own.

I didn’t always have the answers. Actually, most of the time, I had no clue if my ideas made sense or if they’d ever work. But I kept creating. I kept imagining.

Some of the people closest to me—family, friends—probably thought I was a little all over the place. And maybe I was. One day it was a clothing line. The next, an a pressure washing company. Then, out of nowhere, a coffee shop-slash-self photobooth studio-slash-event venue (still not giving up on that one, by the way).

None of my ideas were connected. At least, not in the way most people would expect. But they all had one thing in common: they came from me. From a place of curiosity, passion, and a deep belief that I was meant to build something.

So no, I don’t always know where I’m going with all of this. But I know I’m meant to go. To keep dreaming, sketching, writing, and creating—even when it seems a little “crazy.”

Because that’s what being a visionaire is all about.

I may just be starting but I know where I would like to end up.
